The best title of
a new book for a long time: Please, Sir, Can I Have My
Ball Back.
Local freelance journalist and broadcaster Asley Morrison
proved with the title that he can laugh at himself.
The book is all about his battle with testicular cancer.
"Marketing deparments slammed the door on the book,
saying that because there were no books on the touchy subject
it wouldn't sell," Morrison said.
"We are trying to promote it as the book that every
mother should buy her son, the book every wife should buy
her husband and every gay man should buy his partner.
"testicular cancer attacks young men in the prime
of their lives and therefore we need to make them aware."
Takes balls to tell the world about a medical scare like
that one.
